There are two entry points to Nogales Sonora Mexico from Nogales, Arizona, the first of these points is the border crossing point called "Dennis DeConcini" which is open 24 hrs. of the day and 365 days a year. The second is the Border Crossing Border called "Mariposa" which has scheduled operating hours from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. 365daysy a year. This is important to consider especially if you plan to arrive after 10:00 p.m. to the city and crossing into Mexico.

DENNIS DECONCINI

If you plan to enter through the "Dennis DeConcini" crossing point, you must stay on interstate 19 (I19) all the way to the end of this road. This highway road will lead you straight to an intersection with Grand Ave. very close to the border crossing road port. You will come across the first traffic light right on Grand Ave. and there you will turn to your right (South). A few yards away you will be at the border crossing "Dennis DeConcini" port of entry into Mexico.

Once you have crossed into Mexico this same road will take you to "Adolfo López Mateos" street, continue straight to the south on your right-hand lane and at about 4 blocks down the street this same road will automatically connect with "Ave. Alvaro Obregon" (the city’s main avenue). Stay straight always on direction to the south, and about 3 miles down you will find Hotel Marqués De Cima on your right-hand side. This is the easiest way to find us. As an additional reference, we are passing the second vehicle overpass bridge on Álvaro Obregón avenue. As soon as you pass under this second overpass bridge called "Caribean Bridge" you will find the entrance to the hotel on your right-hand side.

MARIPOSA

If you are entering through "Mariposa" border crossing road port, you will need to use road "189" also called "N. Mariposa Rd. "

When you are driving down Interstate highway "No. 19 (I 19)"you will find a junction to the right-hand side called "road 189 " on EXIT number “4”. Once you take this exit stay on your right-hand side to junction into Mexico. Keep going straight all the way to the end of the road and it will take you directly to the "Mariposa" border crossing point which leads directly into Nogales, Sonora, Mexico.

The street you enter once in Nogales Sonora is "Blvd. Luis Donaldo Colosio "also known as" “Periferico”, follow it straight to the south for a little over 2 miles and take the right-hand exit to" Blvd. Greco. " (immediately after the TELCEL store located inside the SORIANA supermarket parking lot) The city of Nogales Sonora does not have very good road signs, so the best references are the landmarks previously mentioned. Take this downhill exit on the right that leads to Blvd Greco, here you will run into a stoplight that is in an intersection. Take a left hand turn on Blvd. Greco for another 3 stoplights (a little over half a mile), passing the second stop light stay on your right hand lane to avoid going on the overpass (this will lead you away from the hotel) and keep on the rght lane which goes on the side of the overpass ramp. At the end of this avenue you will come across "Prolongación Ave. Álvaro Obregón", the best reference to know that you have reached this point is when you will be under an overpass, at this point just take a left turn on the final stop light towards (North) stay on your left lane a block down it will turn into a turning lane and this turn will take you directly into Hotel Marqués De Cima.

If you are flying into Sonora to come to Nogales, you will probably arrive into the airport of the city of Hermosillo (this is the closest city with a commercial airport). If this is your case you can rent a car and drive into Nogales, there are car rental options inside the airport. you will need to take Federal highway number 15 this is the main road that enters into the city of Nogales Sonora, this highway automatically turns into "Prolongación Avenida A. Obregón" once you enter the city of Nogales Sonora which is the city’s main avenue. Hotel Marques De Cima is located along this same avenue, in such a way that it will not be necessary to deviate once you enter town.

Once you enter the city directly from the highway, you will follow this avenue straight down (North) for about 3 miles, once you pass "Blvd. El Greco" you will know you are close when you drive under an overpass. Once here move over to your left-hand lane and a few yards down on the road you will see the hotel on your left hand side, just turn left into the hotel. This is one of your options to get to the hotel.

The second option is to take a cab to drive you all the way to Nogales, there are shuttle cabs (vans) or private cabs (sedan) they leave right from the airport, so you do not need to leave the airport, you purchase your ride tickets right inside the airport as well.

The third option is to take a cab from the Hermosillo airport into one of te main bus stations in Hermosillo; the best ones are TUFESA or TAP both of the terminals for these two bus lines arrive in Nogales right next to Hotel Marques De Cima, so you can literally walk from any of these two stations into the hotel.

There are three main bus stations in the city. Two of these are private, and the third serves several bus lines.

TUFESA bus station is literally steps away from the Hotel Marques De Cima. You could say we share a wall between the two. You can easily walk from this station to the hotel. A 30-second walk from the terminal door takes you to the hotel.

TAP bus station is located opposite the TUFESA bus station, so it's also steps away from the hotel, and it's very easy to walk from this station to the hotel as well. A 45-second walk from the terminal door takes you to the hotel.

Estrella Blanca bus station serves several bus lines, including: Futura, Chihuahuense, Anáhuac, Elite, Pacifico, Oriente, Aguacaliente, Estrella Blanca, Northern Sonora, TF Frontera, Altamar, Conexión, Costeños, Rápidos Cuauhtémoc, Rojo de los Altos, and Valle del Guadiana, among others. This terminal is located half a mile from the Hotel Marques de Cima and can be reached in 1 minute by taxi, or in 10 minutes on foot.

The U.S. Consulate in Nogales, Sonora, is located less than half a mile from the Hotel Marques De Cima. It takes 2 minutes at most by taxi, or approximately 10 minutes walking to get to it.

Our rates can only be posted in Mexican Pesos by law. To convert your rate from Mexican Pesos to US dollars it will be necessary to use the conversion formula (a basic division) along with the exchange rate of that day, this may confuse people a bit since the exchange rate between the dollar and the peso varies almost daily. Additionally, each establishment determines their own exchange rate based on the local market (the way in which the businesses and banking institutions of the locality are applying the exchange rate between the peso and the dollar at any given day or moment).

Because the “exchange rate” factor in the equation is time sensitive (may vary by day), when making the conversion at the time of reservation does not necessarily reflect the same result as making the conversion on the day of payment for your room (If payment is made on a different day from the reservation date). For example; if the rate is $ 1,000.00 pesos per night and the exchange rate established that day is 18.50 x 1 (18.50 Mexican pesos for every 1 US dollar), then we simply divide the $ 1,000.00 per night rate between the 18.50 exchange rate, and the result will be your rate in US dollars of $ 54.05 per night.

Unfortunately, we do not accept pets at the hotel in any way. They are not accepted inside the rooms or outside of these (parking lot, inside vehicles, etc.). We have been asked if pets can be left inside a car in the hotel parking lot overnight, but this is not possible either.

We have a policy of no pets allowed at all within the hotel and this is due to various reasons including past experiences over several years, for health and hygiene issues, but above all because the local health law does not allow it. We could be fined by local authorities if a pet is found or evidence that there were animals (particularly mammals or reptiles) anywhere in the hotel at one point.

We do NOT have smoking rooms in the hotel, and smoking is not permitted in the hallways, public areas, or parking lot. However, we do have an outdoor special smoking area with chairs and tables in the facility for Tobacco smokers.

There is a small airport with International classification and it is authorized to receive domestic and foreign flights (commercial and private). At this moment there are no commercial flights only private ones operating at the Nogales Sonora International Airport.

Yes, we have baby cribs, it is highly recommended to make your request for it in advance (preferably the moment you make your reservation), this way we can install it in your room prior to your arrival. Our access to the crib facility is only available from 9:00 a.m. at 5:30 p.m. so if you request this service outside of these hours once you have arrived at the hotel it will be very difficult to get one.

Current tax laws allow some agencies to offer this option for end-user billing. Therefore, only a few on line travel agencies have completed the necessary procedures with the Mexican tax authorities to allow billing to be handled by the hotel rather than the online travel agency. We recommend consulting with your travel agency or the hotel before booking. The hotel can also bill directly, regardless of the agency, when the guest books with an online travel agency but pays for their stay directly at the hotel.

Sure, I'm happy to share information about the types of rooms we offer here at the hotel. We have three room categories with different features and occupancy rates:

1) The "Standard" room is our most basic room and has two double beds with a maximum occupancy of four people.

2) The "Comfort" Room are our renovated rooms with additional amenities such as a coffeemaker, ground coffee, bottled water, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, digital safe, work desk, and a 55-inch Smart TV. This room is available in single and double bed options. The single room has a king-size bed with a maximum occupancy of two people, and the double room has two double beds with a maximum occupancy of four people.

3) The "Suite" Room features a master bedroom, imperil main bathroom (two showers and two sinks), mini-refrigerator, microwave, and cabinets, along with a king-size bed and two 70-inch TVs. It also features two desks and a living room area with its own bathroom and a sofa bed. This room has a maximum occupancy of four people (two in a king-size bed and two on a sofa bed).

Check-in time is the hotel's guaranteed time of entry to your room. This is 4:00 PM (4:00 PM). However, if operating conditions are favorable on the day of your arrival, you may be granted access to your room before this time. Early check-in time will depend on the day's operating conditions (occupancy the previous day, check-out times for guests leaving the hotel that day, etc.). If you require early check-in on the day of your arrival, we will inform you if this is possible and the approximate time only on that same day.

If you have an appointment in the city and need us to store your luggage, we offer this service at no additional cost. You will simply need to register your arrival at the front desk, and we will store your luggage until you return to the hotel to access your room.

Check-out time is the time your room expires and the latest you will need to return it to the hotels front desk. This is 12:00 p.m. (noon) on your departure date. If your travel schedule is after this time and you still have an appointment in the city that day, we can also store your luggage at the hotel front desk free of charge.
